Self Government and Private Morality...

The first form of government is self government. If self government fails and men are immoral.. no goverment of the state will restore morality. Morality cannot be legislated. Immorality can be punished, but morality cannot be legislated and charity cannot be forced. Where a law is created, it can be broken. .. even if those laws were written by God (The Ten Commandments). In order to be free, we must be good.

"that the foundation of our national policy will be laid in the pure and immutable principles of private morality, and the preeminence of free government be exemplified by all the attributes which can win the affections of its citizens and command the respect of the world." George Washington's First Inaugural Address

The GOP & RomneyCare...

WSJ The GOP and RomneyCare...

Mr. Romney's response to his Mass. Healthcare plan gets more maddening every day. Not only have costs increased by 6% for the insured, the state is trying to more tightly regulate payments and care. And the most maddening thing of all, Mass. has never been able to pay for this themselves.. Mass receives huge transfer payment from the fed. gov. so you and I are footing part of the bill. Yet, Romney signed off on it and continues to defend it. He is not a guy who believes in free market solutions. I think Obama would be wise to drop Biden and run Romney as VP with him on the Democrat ticket.

Brzezinski is currently Robert E. Osgood Professor of American Foreign Policy at Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies, a scholar at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and a member of various boards and councils. He appears frequently as an expert on the PBS program The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer, ABC News' This Week with Christiane Amanpour, and on MSNBC's Morning Joe, where his daughter, Mika Brzezinski, is co-anchor. You know, I’ve been looking at these worldwide riots that are developing. They’re all a reflection of deep passion, deep resentment and fear. Now the question is “Where will this go? How can this be sort of concretized?” And one thought that has occurred to me — and let me sort of mention it here casually without having really thought it through systematically — I think it would be increasingly helpful if there was a movement to publish, worldwide, lists of who make, largely through speculation, enormous amounts of money almost instantly, and basically hide the fact from their social context. You know, how many Americans are really fully aware of how many other good people, let’s say like Warren Buffett and others, who really donate a lot of their earnings to charities, to philanthropy? But how many more are there in the hedge funds, in the banks, in a variety of other places, who, on the basis of speculation, literally make millions of dollars that would take a century or two for the average person ever to make? I’d like to see those lists. And they shouldn’t be that difficult to produce.

Makes you want to send your kids to Johns Hopkins, doesn't it? Zbigniew Brzezinski has been (continues as?) a senior foreign policy advisor to President Obama.

Common Core, Environmentalists & Population Control...

In the old testament, the people worshipped the Sun. Today, we worship the earth. Earth worship is becoming more and more part of school curriculum. I would say that a full third of my child's geography class talked about the harm that human beings cause the environment. Questions like, "how do people harm the planet by using natural resources?" Environmental science has overtaken science courses. And, even the Boy Scouts now have introduced badges in "Environmental Science" and "Sustainability".

This attitude isn't new. We are warned about it in the Old Testament.

Baal

A male sun-god worshiped principally in Phoenicia (1 Kgs. 16:31) but also worshiped in different ways in various places: by the Moabites as Baal-peor (Num. 25:1–3), at Shechem as Baal

We have met the enemy and he is us. ~Walt Kelly
I believe in God, only I spell it nature. ~Frank Lloyd Wright

Jeremiah 19

The Lord will bring evil upon Judah—They sacrifice their children to Baal—In the siege they will eat the flesh of their sons and daughters.

Childbearing should be a punishable crime against society, unless the parents hold a government license... All potential parents should be require to use contraceptive chemicals, the government issuing antidotes to citizens chosen for childbearing. ~David Brower, the first executive director of The Sierra Club

Human babies are not born self-aware or capable of grasping their lives over time. They are not persons. Hence their lives would seem to be no more worth of protection that the life of a fetus. ~Peter Singer from Rethinking Life and Death  Peter Singer Professor of Bioethics Princeton University

Judges 2

...future events, a new generation arises that forsakes the Lord and serves Baal and Ashtaroth—The Lord is angry with the children of Israel and ceases to preserve them—He raises up judges to guide...

It has been concluded that compulsory population-control laws, even inducing laws requiring compulsory abortion, could be sustained under the existing constitution if the population crisis becomes sufficiently severe to endanger society... If some individuals contribute to general social deterioration by overproducing children, and if the need is compelling, they can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility. from the book Ecoscience by Ehrlich & Holdren. John Holdren was appointed "science czar" by Barack Obama in 2009

Psalms 106:
36 And they served their aidols: which were a snare unto them.
37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,
38 And shed innocent ablood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the bidols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.

More than 42 Million children are killed every year in the womb worldwide. But that isn't enough for environmentalists like Bill Gates, whose foundation funds so much of Common Core and who wants to lower the current population numbers by 10-15% HERE.

James E. Faust The Sanctity of Life

 Moses 7:33 And unto thy brethren have I said, and also given commandment, that they should alove one another, and that they should choose me, their Father; but behold, they are without affection, and they bhate their own blood;

During his graduate studies, my husband had a professor with a large family. One day he boarded a train in a large American city with children in tow.  An angry woman on the train asked, "How can you have such a large family on an over-crowded planted with limited resources?" My husband's professor responded, "We teach our children to contribute more than they consume."

I have nothing against conservation. I am not a hyper consumer. I believe in the old adage, "use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without." But, people need to understand the vast difference between conservation and environmentalism and how environmental principles have crept into our schools which are not only preaching idol worship, but war against life. We need to take a stand.
